whats the cheapest property for sale in your area? and the most expensive?
in my local paper today i saw a studio flat, which is a bed-sit lounge, kitchenette and shower room for £88,000. there were lots of these in a converted hotel so they will be a converted hotel room.
then there was a park home on site (mobile home) which was £99,000.
a one bedroom flat in converted house for £125,000. and a 3 bed semi was £175,000. the most expensive was a large detached house overlooking the sea and very nice too at £2.5 million. what chance does any first time buyer have on minimum wage?
there are more expensive ones but not in todays paper.
is it true that a house can be bought for £25,000 up north or in wales?
hypocrite. i bought my 3 bed semi in 1996 for £50,000. 2 years later the price had almost doubled and a friend of mine had to pay £98,000 for a 2 bed flat. no more "boom and bust" labour got it a bit wrong i think

I live in a town to the south of Leicester that has always been regarded as being a bit 'posh' (though I haven't got a clue why).
On Rightmove there's a terraced house up for auction with a guide price of 60k.
At the other end of the scale there's a 7 bed house on for 1.25 million.
Nowhere near as expensive as property in the south-east but more expensive than many areas in Leicestershire because there are excellent schools supposedly.
No 25k properties around here. And you're right, minimum wage earners don't have a hope getting onto the housing ladder.
I'm now living in the same 3 bed semi that my late parents bought in 1971 for four grand. It's probably worth in the region of 190k now after the extension and improvements we've made. The way house prices have risen in scary. If I were a first time buyer without a hefty deposit I wouldn't have a cat in hell's chance of being able to afford it. We want to sell this year but because I want to move to an area with a good schools we're struggling to find anything any good that we can afford that suits our needs. But the near on £100 a WEEK it's costing my husband to get to work and back means we can't afford to stay here either.

There are many ways to find the cheap oceanfront lots for sale in Ecuador. A great way is to walk the coast yourself and look on walls next to the property for spray-painted phone numbers.
There are also great sites on the net where locals post up there properties for sale with the prices already stated. Check on the report at http://www.EcuadorRealEstate.org to help you out a ton...hope that helps
